I designed the set for One Man, Two Guvnors whilst in my final year at RWCMD. It was a great production to work on because of it’s comical and surprising elements. I gave my design a postcard theme with a painterly quality to represent the play’s fun, happy, and imaginative characteristics as well as to link it to the seaside town of Brighton in which the play was set.

The play exampled my love for the role of the scenic artist. Furthering this, I spent much of my time up at the workshop myself to help out with the scenic painting and paint the backcloth from the design!
